Pieve Aldina

Pieve Aldina is a hotellerie jewel located in the heart of Tuscany, nestled among the vineyards and olive groves of the Chianti region.  The result of a restoration aimed at preserving a careful balance between old and new, the hotel has been created from a 2000 square metre architectural complex surrounded by 40 hectares of olive groves, carefully restored to preserve its historic charm. The house retains all the characteristics of Tuscan architecture: thick outer walls, tiled roofs, strong wooden frames, brick or granite windows, and splendid stone porticoes. The most evident intervention has been made inside, creating a perfect balance between design, history and magical views of the Tuscan landscape. The comfort and versatility of the Loll chairs and poufs, and the Ghost and Ghost Modular sofas, fit spontaneously into the different environments of the structure composed of 22 accommodations including rooms and suites, each one different from the other, but all united by the balance between tradition and contemporary design. Sage green, soft beige, white and brown are the colours chosen to decorate the indoor environments, matching the choice of the furniture coverings, and aimed at creating a warm and enveloping atmosphere inspired by the earth and the uncontaminated nature surrounding the structure.
