René Barba, born in 1965 in Havana, Cuba, and raised in the United States, sharpened his artistic skills at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris between 1991 and 1994. He has carved out a distinguished career in design, working with a host of companies throughout Europe. His creative portfolio features collaborations with esteemed labels like Ligne Roset, Cinna, Koziol, BBB, and Serax. René’s creations, which he describes as "Functional sculptures", have been displayed in prominent international venues in Milan, Paris, Tokyo, and New York. Beyond design, René is also acclaimed for his work as a sculptor and artist.
