Gervasoni at RFK Human Rights Italia’s “Leave DeSign” charity auction conducted by Christie’s

Gervasoni is taking part in the “Leave DeSign” charity auction organised by RFK Human Rights Italia and conducted by Christie’s, which this year will involve outstanding examples of Made in Italy design.

Every year the association, which was set up with the aim of carrying on Senator Kennedy’s legacy in the field of human and civil rights, promotes an auction to raise money to support its programmes: for about 15 years it has actively been working in Italian schools alongside teachers to tackle sensitive issues, such as stalking, domestic violence, bullying, cyberbullying and many others.

Gervasoni’s BRASS 96 lamp, donated for the occasion, will be displayed at Christie’s, together with the other works up for auction, at 5 Via Clerici in Milan, from 28 to 30 September from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. by appointment (R.S.V.P. [email protected]) during the preview of the lots, and it will then be auctioned on 19 November at IBM Studios in Piazza Gae Aulenti during the RFK Human Rights Italia Gala & Award 2021.

Featuring a strong decorative impact, the BRASS lamp family exploits the ductility of brass and its ability to embellish interiors with warm and golden light reflections. These pendant lamps have a very visually appealing delicate shape: a light brass disk that floats in the air, reflecting the light in a poetic and evocative way. They can be used individually or combined with each other for an even more impressive and striking effect.
