Ghost goes green - Supersalone 5/10.09
Fiera Milano Rho | Hall 4 stand E01

Gervasoni’s environmental commitment, evidenced by its extensive use of natural materials of certified origin that comply with the highest international sustainability standards, is reaffirmed with the presentation of the new version of Ghost upholstered furniture: already “Second Life” icons thanks to the removable cover that allows the sofa to be changed by simply replacing its cover, they are now made with recycled and recyclable certified materials from renewable sources.

In addition to opting for sustainable materials, Gervasoni focuses on the engineering stage: each product can be completely disassembled for more effective and efficient recycling, repair or replacement of its components.

This major project, which focuses on circularity and sustainability, is presented at the Supersalone in the “Ghost Goes Green” installation: the Gervasoni stand has been transformed into a gallery of photographic images that artistically illustrate the evolution of Ghost.

From mechanical springs to feet – now produced with recycled material from timber sourced from certified forests – to zips, used instead of staples to facilitate disassembly, each element is displayed deconstructed to illustrate Gervasoni’s commitment to safeguarding our planet. A goal that it aims to achieve for all products and all production stages.
