20-26.04.2026, 10.00 – 20.00 h
During Milan Design Week 2026, the Gervasoni flagship store on Via Durini 7 in Milan changes its face through The Garden, The Apartment, a project by Beatrice Rossetti Studio that brings together indoor and outdoor atmospheres into a unique narrative. A contemporary loft, conceived as a suspended space between interior and exterior, unfolds through suggested environments and glimpses that invite visitors to enter and move freely along a fluid path.
The presented collections are realised with new water-based finishes that mark an evolution in the treatment of surfaces. Rather than creating uniformity, they accompany the material, allowing the natural character of the wood to emerge with all its variations. These new finishes stem from research focused on aesthetic quality and the sustainability of the production process, restoring a more authentic perception of surfaces.
The installation opens with the outdoor area, The Garden, where green is the dominant theme. This is enhanced by the original vegetal wallpaper by Affreschi&Affreschi, which amplifies spatial depth and creates a layered, reflective landscape that envelops the furnishings, transforming the showroom into a domestic garden. The vegetation, light and diffused, guides the path without ever becoming theatrical, contributing to a private and continuous atmosphere.
The living area is organised around the Mediterraneo 04 sofa, upholstered in Dublin 05, and the modular Hashi system in Dublin 02, which introduces a more essential tone to the composition. At the centre, the Brise 46 and Brise 53 small tables engage in dialogue with two Eco 02 rugs, while the Random 96 pendant lights establish a luminous rhythm. The Guna 01 completes the setting in Rio 04, with a nautical blue cord that adds material depth to the narrative. The Inout 851 armchair, with a grey elastic strap and seating in Rio 07, creates an additional pause area alongside the Ghost Out 05 in Berlin 01 and a composition of Kasane 19, Inout 41, and Inout 43 side tables.
The following space is defined by the outdoor living area, centred around the round Noa 36 table in an Ivory finish, paired with Brise 24 and Inout 823 chairs in Agate. The Ripple 193 lamps mark the centre with a discreet light.
Around it, the Jeko 05 armchairs in eco-teak and Rio 05 engage in dialogue with the fans from the Wind collection, while the Inout and Jeko 41 side tables articulate the surface planes.
The path continues towards The Apartment, dedicated to the indoor collections and conceived as a continuous environment that recalls the language of the open-space loft. A first living area, defined by a palette of warm tones – from brick red to terracotta and rust hues – takes shape around the Samet Fix 12 sofa in Arcipelago Amorgos, paired with the Gray 07 armchair in Cosmo Nettuno and the Guna and Gray side tables in the new Birch finish. The Next 999 Silver rug defines the area, while the Ghost 09 armchair in Terre de Lin Aide introduces a softer counterpoint, accompanied by the Inout 46 side table and the Silver 95 pendant lamp. The new Tapies sideboard in a Maple finish completes the composition with a solid yet measured presence.
A second living area is arranged around the Ghost 110 sofa in Sand Zingaro, with Kira 43 and Kira 44 side tables in a Silver finish and the Next 999 rug, illuminated by the Pajama 94 floor lamp. The space then opens onto the dining area, centred around the Mediterraneo 33 table with a lava stone top, surrounded by Straw and Eidos chairs. Ghost Out chairs and Daen sideboards introduce a continuous dialogue between indoor and outdoor.
At the heart of the apartment, the space shifts to a soft, powdery palette, where light blue, blush, and sienna tones layer into a balanced composition, defining a suspended and enveloping atmosphere. The generously proportioned Samet High sofa in Tweel Lyne defines a more intimate area together with the Heiko collection side tables and Next rugs. The Spin lamps compose a warm and diffused light.
The sleeping area opens onto the living space, dissolving the distinction between private and shared zones. The Ghost 80 bed in Movida Arrecife is paired with the Gray bench and Brick 244 bedside tables with Sweet lamps. The Pier 63 chest of drawers and the Pajama 92 complete the space, together with the Loll 09 armchair in Tweed Sunrise and Loll 08 pouf; Kira 98 mirrors and Next 998 rugs define the composition with a measured presence.
Here, the main living area unfolds, defined by the new Loll corner sofa in Arcipelago Kos and the Ghost 11 armchair in Deus Afrodite, creating a spacious and informal setting. The Bolla side tables in woven rattan, together with Kira 43, introduce a material counterpoint, while the Next 999 rugs and Silver lamps shape the atmosphere.
The Garden, The Apartment thus constructs a continuous narrative, in which materials, light, and spatial configurations define a fluid and non-hierarchical way of living.
Within this continuity lies a precise principle: the outdoor is not a simplification of the indoor, but its natural extension. There is no clear-cut distinction between interior and exterior, but rather a threshold that can constantly be crossed – where space transforms and adapts to everyday gestures.
