Vibrant weaves and refined materiality: this is how the rugs from Gervasoni’s Saha, Eco, and Guna collections present themselves. Designed to enhance outdoor spaces, they also seamlessly adapt to interiors, thanks to a versatile aesthetic and highly durable materials.

The three collections share a careful approach to the selection of technical yarns. Eco, designed by Elena Sanguankeo, and Guna, by Chiara Andreatti, are made from polypropylene, a thermoplastic material known for its lightness, recyclability, and resistance to atmospheric agents. Saha, designed by Federica Biasi, is woven with polyester yarn coated in PVC- a combination that ensures excellent elasticity and moisture resistance, ideal even in harsher climates.

Gervasoni rugs express the brand’s refined material research, applied with tailor-like care to every product. Available in a wide range of colors and sizes, the Saha, Eco, and Guna collections are designed to enhance outdoor spaces of any style, while offering an aesthetic equally suited to indoor use.

SAHA

Design Federica Biasi

The Saha rug by Federica Biasi carries a weave of universal meanings, inspired by distant cultures and harmoniously connected. The word itself means "earth" in Sanskrit, symbol of stability and grounding; "thank you" in Maltese, a whisper of gratitude; and in Arabic, it conveys a promise of happiness and good fortune.

Made of polyester yarn coated in PVC, Saha masterfully combines aesthetics and functionality: the geometric texture of white and blue stripes gives the rug a visual rhythm that suits various settings.

GUNA

Design Chiara Andreatti

Chiara Andreatti signs the Guna outdoor furniture collection, strongly inspired by multi-ethnic influences.

Guna is a Sanskrit term meaning "energy that envelops all things," derived from the Indo-European root gere, meaning "to wrap," used to refer to the individual thread of a woven rope. A name that captures the deep meaning of the collection: a weave of yarns, meshes, and textures, but also of inspirations, relationships, and cultures, forms the foundation of the designer’s project.

Guna is available in three color variants: Blue, Red, and Natural, and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings. All versions are double-sided.

The Guna rug is crafted using the refined technique of artisanal knitting, translated into the precision and repeatability of industrial looms. An ultra-fine polypropylene yarn, in two contrasting colors, is woven to create a rug available in two versions: one with a monochrome striped texture in two sizes, and a more decorative one in a larger format.

The project stems from an in-depth research process carried out by the company together with the designer. The rugs, initially drawn and crafted on manual shuttle looms, were later developed on an adapted industrial loom, pushed to its limits to create weaves with a handcrafted appearance. The synthesis of tradition and innovation is also reflected in the choice of materials: jute and polypropylene, both suitable for outdoor use and water-resistant.

Elena Sanguankeo brings her experience in high fashion to the collection, weaving together yarns, colors, and stitching techniques to create the three variants: "Green contrast", which combines an orange-blue bouclé with a green-turquoise mélange ribbon; "White contrast", made with a rope-colored bouclé and a white mélange ribbon; and "Natural contrast", featuring a yellow and periwinkle blue bouclé paired with an earth-toned mélange ribbon.
