Gervasoni in the world of hotellerie: among the participants of EquipHotel 2024
Gervasoni participates in EquipHotel 2024, Nov. 3-7 in Paris, a major event for the hospitality industry that brings together professionals and operators from around the world.
The booth is inspired by the hôtel particuliers of the French capital, recreating the refined and sophisticated atmosphere of a historic residence. Panels decorated with boiserie, mirrored doors opening onto endless perspectives and a mosaic floor recalling classic Parisian geometries frame the furniture on display. In this evocative setting, Gervasoni will present a selection of iconic products and new proposals, blending the appeal of contemporary design with the aesthetics and craftsmanship that have always characterized the brand.
The visitor, crossing the booth, will be transported to a Paris of ancient taste, reinterpreted through Gervasoni's signature furniture, where the dialogue between tradition and modernity creates a unique and immersive space.
Different lounge areas punctuate the space, alternating between upholstered furniture that has made the brand's history and more recent proposals, capable of telling the story of the Gervasoni philosophy devoted to maximum comfort.
A first living area features two Loll 07 armchairs designed by Paola Navone, the most recent additions to the collection of the same name. Both in a midnight blue color and defined by compact volumes and impeccable proportions, they narrate of the beauty of simplicity, recounting an idea of contemporary comfort, made special by attention to detail, quality materials and unique craftsmanship.
The profile of Loll upholstered furniture is emphasized by the characteristic cut-and-sew that, like a light stroke drawn freehand, follows the essential geometries and soft lines of the collection.
This first area, enriched with details, occasional tables and lamps from different collections, also showcases one of 2024's new additions, the Pajama table lamp by René Barba: a proposal capable of transforming rooms with its dreamy beauty, creating an enveloping ethereal atmosphere. The lamps in the collection, both table and floor lamps, made of Tyvek®, a surprisingly light and resistant material, present a texture reminiscent of crumpled paper, while demonstrating durability and strength. Tyvek® imparts a feeling of fragility that belies the philosophy behind the design, designed to withstand the passage of time and keep its beauty intact. The design of the lamps features a circular shade that frames the light and seems to float in the air supported by an internal metal structure that provides stability and shape. The resin base adds a touch of modernity and solidity.
Two more pieces of furniture from the Loll collection furnish a second living space. This time catching the eye are the Loll 09 bergère armchair and Loll 08 ottoman, presented in the distinctive white Polar Bear fabric, chosen to further emphasize that feeling of comfort that characterizes the collection.
Our Loll 09 armchair has been included in this year's exclusive PARCOURS HOTELLERIE DE LUXE, which highlights excellence in the hôtellerie sector, curated by Delporte Hospitality as part of the Paris trade fair. Delporte is recognised as one of the leading experts in the field of luxury hotels, offering information, expertise and online services for decision-makers in major hotels. Since 2011, it has been addressing key issues in the luxury hotel industry through numerous conferences, with the aim of stimulating constructive debate and anticipating future trends.
Behind one of the decorative panels, a large area opens up, contrasting past and present: on one side is the iconic Ghost 11 armchair designed by Paola Navone proposed in light and delicate shades, and on the other is Federica Biasi's latest proposal, the Samet High modular sofa that winks at Thai aesthetics. The Ghost collection, defined by its characteristic removable cover that wraps light structures, has been able to maintain its identity and at the same time evolve, becoming one of the symbols of contemporary design and revealing each time the “chameleon-like” essence that has made Ghost one of the longest-lived and most beloved collections in the design world.
The Samet High collection, on the other hand, embodies the essence of the Orient, defined by the addition of a quilted topper to bring the product even closer to the Thai imagery from which the inspiration for the project stems. From a simple modularity come infinite compositions with an aesthetic beyond time, from the most classic sofa to the most multifaceted, from the neatest to the most disjointed. Samet is a sofa without rules, a multifunctional and configurable product that places man as an active subject in the composition of his own space, encouraging him to experiment with new forms of use, unconventional compositions defined by the free combination of shapes and volumes.
Finally, a small passage area is illuminated by Pajama lamps, this time also presented in the floor version.
Gervasoni's corporate philosophy in bringing together furnishings signed by different hands finds expression in the juxtaposition of furnishings that, when joined together, tell a single story capable of bringing to life an emotional journey between yesterday and today.
Gervasoni also shares the booth with Very Wood and Rex Kralj by Very Wood, present at the fair to tell their unique interpretation of hospitality.
