On the occasion of NYCxDESIGN, taking place from May 15 to 21, 2026, Gervasoni returns to New York, in the heart of Manhattan’s NoMad Design District, where the showroom shared with the brands of the Dexelance Group confirms itself as a space dedicated to contemporary Italian design, shaped by authentic materials, soft atmospheres, and a vision of living defined by balance, comfort, and materiality.
Within this context, Gervasoni also takes part in “Design, Theater of Excellence”, the exhibition project presented by Interni Magazine at the headquarters of ITA – Italian Trade Agency in New York. The exhibition, on view from May 12 to July 15, 2026, is part of “Italy on Madison”, the initiative dedicated to Italian excellence and lifestyle.
Curated by OTTO Studio – Paola Navone and Cristina Pettenuzzo – the installation pays tribute to the tradition of Italian theater through a sequence of scenographies inspired by the visual codes of theater and photography. An immersive journey in which Made in Italy takes shape through images, materials, and atmospheres crossing some of the most emblematic places of the Bel Paese, from Milan to Rome, passing through Venice, Florence, Rimini, Cortina, and Capri, as stages of an ideal contemporary Grand Tour.
Gervasoni furnishings become part of this narrative with natural elegance, intertwining craftsmanship, materiality, and expressive lightness. The Inout 44 coffee tables, decorated with polka dots and stripes, introduce a freer and more playful note, while the Log coffee tables, in black and white versions, crafted from sections of peeled and lacquered beech trunk, express a direct and authentic relationship with natural material. The same dialogue emerges in the Gray 45 coffee table, which enhances the deep shades of American walnut.
The Ghost 23 chairs and Ghost 25 armchairs, upholstered in white linen, complete the installation as a silent yet recognizable presence: soft and essential forms capable of conveying a sense of timeless and effortless comfort.
